The Russian government will consider the draft law on federal budget for 2017-2019 at Thursday’s session.
The budget deficit is planned at 2.745 trillion rubles, or 3.2% of GDP, in 2017. The revenues of the federal budget are expected at 13.4 trillion rubles in 2017, expenditures – at 16.2 trillion rubles.
The deficit of the federal budget will thus be gradually reduced. The draft budget envisages revenues in 2018 at 13.99 trillion rubles, expenditures at 15.98 trillion rubles, and deficit at 1.99 trillion rubles; in 2019 – revenues at 14.82 trillion rubles, expenditures at 15.96 trillion rubles, and deficit at 1.14 trillion rubles.
