Gazprom boosted its natural gas export to non-CIS countries by 10.7 bln cubic meters in nine months, the Russian gas holding said on Monday.

“Gazprom’s export to non-CIS countries surged by 10.7 bln cubic meters year-on-year in 9 months of 2016. Growth leaders in absolute terms are the United Kingdom by 4.7 bln cubic meters, Germany by 1.9 bln cubic meters, the Netherlands by 1.52 bln cubic meters, France by 1.5 bln cubic meters, and Poland by 1.4 bln cubic meters,” Gazprom reported.

The demand for natural gas also increased in certain South European nation, the company said.

“Deliveries to Greece rose by 645 mln cubic meters or by 57.4%,” Gazprom said. Gazprom’s natural gas export surged 8% year-on-year in 2015 to 159.4 bln cubic meters.
