During the period from 12th till 15th of October 2015, simultaneously with the twentieth regular meeting of the Chinese and Russian prime ministers, there will be carried out the Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair – “The 2nd Russia-China EXPO 2015”: “One Belt And One Road” and the first Russian-Chinese Investment Industry Symposium: Strategic cooperation between Russia and China. Social and economic development of the regions. Trade and economic cooperation”.
The Expo is cosponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the P.R.China, the People’s Government of Heilongjiang Province, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
It is an important move to hold the 2nd Expo for both countries to enhance multi-fields cooperation, the Expo is an open and international large-scale exhibition, which is also an international exhibition platform built by China and Russia. The Expo will give a full play to respective advantages of China and Russia, highlight the professionalization of exhibition to a higher degree, focus on effective matchmaking of mega enterprises and big projects, invite more businessmen from different countries to participate in and visit the Expo. The Expo will provide more opportunities of communication and cooperation, promote multilateral and multi-fields deep cooperation.
For providing support of the state policy and on the basis of the long-range objectives of the Russian industrial sector, mining industry and building industry development the Symposium is aimed at international cooperation development and investment and innovation successful activities provision in order to meet requirements of companies concerning development and improvement of business activities being done by Russian and Chinese companies and also by the companies of those countries included in EEU.
The Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair – “The 2nd Russia-China EXPO 2015” is a representational annual international exhibition congress, an unique intellectual platform for direct communication and interaction of federal state government bodies, executive arms of the sub-federal regions, self-governing authorities, state institutions of development with professionals in the mining and building sectors, investment and banking community, branch national associations, competent experts.
At the exhibition “Russia-China EXPO 2014” Russia was represented by the leaders of 12 federal ministries, departments, 39 regions and more than 100 companies, in general about 1100 people. The general sum of the contracts signed within the scope of EXPO, the agreements and protocols of intentions concluded had exceeded 5 billion USA dollars.
The business program 2015 includes carrying out of conferences, plenary meetings, technical visits, ceremonial events, specialized sessions, roundtable discussions, business negotiations, besides, investment treaties signing is expected, investors will have a possibility to form their opinion on different investment proposals.
