Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree on simplifying administrative procedures in international trade, which particularly concern exporters of dual purpose products.

“I’ve signed a decree, which is aimed at simplifying administrative procedures in international trade. They concern those enterprises that manufacture products, particularly of dual purpose. The simplifications will enable the enterprises to be provided with services from specialized expert centers involved in expert reviews,” Medvedev said at the government meeting on Thursday.

According to Medvedev, enterprises will have an option to choose whether to “use services of those organizations or identify products independently”, “which will simplify the rules and make them clearer and more transparent as well as establish equal approaches for all participants of international trade.”
