Support required for SA property development

The site is on the corner of two intersecting proposed Bus Rapid Transit lines. The site development plan consists of less dense affordable single houses similar to the densities of the adjacent Shoshanguwe township (two phases); to a more dense affordable “cluster” design (three phases, 40 units per hectare) up to a higher density of 60 units per hectare in affordable double storey walk – up units (four phases).

The development also includes a lower order formal and informal trading area with pedestrian traffic from the development only.

The preferred land use as described above will provide for a mix of housing types with a large number of housing units to be developed, at an average density of ± 40 units per hectare over the area used for housing.

Investment required for the development is estimated at US $43,15-million and joint-venture options can be explored.
