Russia’s federal budget in 2013 ran a deficit of 310.52 billion U.S. dollars or 0.5% of GDP, the Finance Ministry said on Monday, January 20.

In December 2013, the budget deficit was 952.543 billion rubles or 15% of GDP.

The ministry has preliminarily estimated last year’s budget revenues at 13,019 billion rubles or 100.9% of the target figure.

Actual budget expenditures totaled 13,330 billion rubles or 99.6% of the projected level and 99% of the adjusted figures.

Primary budget deficit was 49.78 billion rubles.
