Russian Export Center (REC) expects 40% of active exporters will carry out foreign economic activity with its assistance in 2016, the Center said after its Board meeting on Monday.

“Thorough analysis of instruments developed by REC staff to support exporters and the demand for Center’s services on the part of Russian manufacturers makes possible to speak about high target indicators corresponding to similar indicators of foreign export credit agencies,” REC chief executive Pyotr Fradkov said.

Export supported by REC is planned at the level of $8 bln in 2016 with further growth to $14.1 bln by 2018, the Center said.

REC also plans to determine the procedure of interaction with key development institutions next year and sign agreements next year with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and others, the Center reported.
