Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko has said Russia should have its own credit-rating agencies that would show an objective picture.

“It seems to me, we need to think about creating our own credit-rating agencies at last, so as not to depend on credit-rating agencies biased towards foreign governments,” she said at a meeting between the Russian president and the house council.

Senators have a whole host of proposals that they are ready to submit for consideration, Matviyenko said.
