In January 2014, Russia’s gas monopoly Gazprom increased export of natural gas to Europe by 15.6 percent year-on-year – to 14.748 billion cubic metres, the Central Dispatch Service reports.

To the FSU countries the company supplied 5.486 billion cubic metres, which is by 0.5 percent less year-on-year.

The export of liquefied natural gas in January grew by 0.4 percent to 1.365 billion cubic metres.

Russia’s total export of natural gas in January grew by ten percent to 21.599 billion cubic metres.
