The 18th BRICS Summit was held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on 12-13 September 2026.

The footage also shows PM Modi warmly meeting Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Cultural displays, including rangoli and traditional Indian paintings, attracted leaders’ attention during the summit.
Leaders from China, Russia, Iran, South Africa, Malaysia and Indonesia participated, among others.
PM Modi said the militarization of technology and critical minerals could obstruct shared progress and prosperity, and urged BRICS countries to jointly address challenges and promote inclusive development in the Global South.
