Jaipur is hosting a two-day BRICS trade and industry ministerial meeting at Rambagh Palace on August 6–7.
India's Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Minister of State Jitin Prasada are playing key roles in the meeting.
Discussions cover expanding trade among BRICS members, strengthening supply chains and developing digital commerce and e-commerce frameworks.
The meetings precede a proposed BRICS summit in New Delhi on September 12–13, to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Further meetings are planned involving BRICS finance ministers, central bank governors and tourism ministers.
Delegates are scheduled to attend a cultural evening at City Palace on August 6 and visit Jaipur's heritage sites, including Amer Fort, on August 7.
