Airspace Alert for Putin and Other Foreign Guests; Special VIP Flight Routes Set

VIP flights carrying foreign leaders for the BRICS summit have been assigned special air routes and altitudes, with non-VIP aircraft barred from coming within 100 km of their routes.
The Indian Air Force is monitoring VIP flights as soon as they enter Indian airspace, and restrictions are being enforced from midnight on September 10-11 until 6 pm on September 13 during the summit period.
Safdarjung Airport and Rohini Heliport will remain closed to normal flights, and no unauthorized flights, helicopters, or drones are permitted.
Within 300 km of Delhi Airport, flights from other airstrips, airports, and helipads are banned except scheduled passenger flights, VIP summit flights, Air Force, BSF, and permitted helicopters or aircraft.
Scheduled passenger flights taking off from or landing at Delhi Airport must maintain Flight Level 290 until 200 km away, as coordinated by the Home Ministry, Air Force, and Civil Aviation Ministry.
