The New Development Bank and India's experience in digital payments, financial inclusion, startups, renewable energy, and supply-chain resilience are cited as BRICS-related achievements.
Some experts argue that BRICS expansion and geopolitical tensions may reduce coherence, while others say BRICS advances multipolarity, South-South cooperation, and reform of the international order.
India's approach is described as promoting reformist multilateralism and multi-alignment rather than positioning BRICS as an explicitly anti-Western bloc.
